Mike McCready was just on the San Diego radio station 94.9 and I recorded it for the readers of GrungeReport.net, I edited out all of the songs played and the commercials. Mike revealed that Matt Cameron wrote the music to The Fixer and said he wrote it about a year ago. He also talked about a solo album he is working on and a possible Pearl Jam EP that might come out next year to follow up Backspacer.

This is the complete interview, like I mentioned in the article, I edited out the songs and commercials, what I uploaded is all of the McCready interview segments, they aired them in between songs that Mike chose for the DJ to play as you can hear in the interview, here are the songs that were played, I might have missed one but from what I remember these were the songs.

Mad Season was great, if he does a solo album it will be absolutely fantastic
I read on the AIC board that some fan got a hold of the instrumental demos for Mad Season’s ill fated second album, I hope to God it leaks.
