Courtney Love is apparently frustrated with her late husband Kurt Cobain’s depiction in Guitar Hero 5, so she posted the following on Twitter:

“For the record, this Guitar Hero shit is breach of contract on a bully’s part and there will be a proper addressing of this and retraction.”

“We are going to sue the shit out of Activision. We being the Trust, the Estate, the LLC, the various LLCs Cobain Enterprises.”

It allegedly took three years of negotiations to secure Cobain as a playable character in Guitar Hero 5 – a move that Courtney Love approved and even helped integrate into the game.

There has been controversy over his inclusion, however, after it was discovered his Avatar could be used to perform any song – not just Nirvana’s – once unlocked.
