Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has been making the media rounds recently so there has been a lot of STP news over the last couple of days.  Scott reveals in this interview with LA’s 98.7 that STP first intended on releasing their new album before Christmas but it now looks like it will be out “right after Christmas.”  He also said that STP are just about done making the album, which I reported yesterday.  That probably means the album will be released either December 29th, January 5th, January 12th, or January 19th, which are the four Tuesdays following Christmas.  I would suspect that a radio single should be out sometime in November.
