RADIOHEAD’S THOM YORKE MAKES A JOKE ABOUT STONE TEMPLE PILOTS

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke was playing a solo show last night in Los Angeles and he made a joke about Stone Temple Pilots according to NME.com. At one point in the evening, a member of the audience shouted, “Play some Skynyrd!” Yorke responded by flashing both middle fingers, saying, “You think I should be playing Stone Temple Pilots too?”

Radiohead is not overrated. They simply suck. All theyre songs sound the same a diehard radiohead fan is musically ignorant. STP rapes Radiohead
I actually like Radiohead a lot. I am not saying I like what he said here, but i do admit that Radiohead is a very good band.
Maybe Yorke didn`t mean anything by it, other than Yorke playing Skynyrd is about as ridiculous as Yorke playing Stone Temple Pilots. I wouldn`t put too much weight into his comment.

Nah, DMB is the most overrated of ALL time.
To those saying Radiohead fans are musically ignorant, Radiohead has covered a LOT more musical ground than STP could ever dream of. STP is a simple hard rock band with some occasional psychedelic flourishes, whereas Radiohead has covered Rock, Electronica, Jazz, and Ambient, sometimes within the same album.
That doesn’t mean they write better songs. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.
Arty high brow brits playing Skynyrd is wrong. Yelling play some skynyrd at shows is an American tradition. If you don’t get the joke, you’re lame. Then slag STP? Go worship your queen cross eyed fagola. STP kills.
