Stone Temple Pilots kicked off their Fall 2009 Tour last night in Mobile, Alabama at Bayfest. They played their standard set, no surprises.  STP are playing in Florida tonight and BelowEmpty.com user VegasCrackerman said he heard part of “Meatplow” during a soundcheck. Here are two videos from the show, Scott Weiland sounds good but he barely moves around the stage at all. There was also little to no stage banter outside of some “Thank Yous.”

Eddie Vedder is WAY more energetic than him right now.
Like Frank Zappa said, “We’re only in it for the money.” The boys are washed up and catatonic. Too bad. Great band, great songs…but now only a jukebox.
