TEMPLE OF THE DOG REUNITE AT LAST NIGHT’S PEARL JAM SHOW
At last night’s Pearl Jam show in Los Angeles at the Gibson Ampitheater Grunge supergroup Temple of the Dog reunited on stage for the first time in 6 years! Chris Cornell came out and performed the Temple of the Dog classic “Hunger Strike” with the rest of the band. Temple of the Dog was a Grunge supergroup that released their self-titled lone album in 1991. The album was recorded as a tribute to fallen Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood and the band consisted of Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, and Matt Cameron. This one-off Temple of the Dog reunion also meant half of Soundgarden reunited onstage, Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron! Maybe Pearl Jam will reunite all of Soundgarden at one of their Philadelphia shows? 2009 is really a great year for Grunge.
