Here are the GrungeReport.net 2009 End of the Year Awards voting categories. The categories are Band of the Year, Album of the Year, Frontman of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Moment of the Year, Most Anticipated Event of 2010, and Courtney Love Story of the Year. Vote away, the results will be revealed in late December! Also for anybody who asks why there isn’t Guitarist/Drummer/Bassist of the Year, it just gets a bit too complicated at that point.

    It’s good to have a bit of Alice (Cooper, In Chains, or otherwise).
    Pearl Jam’s Backspacer is also a strong contender for the album of the year but if you have a chance to listen to Soulsaver’s Broken please do, you’ll be amazed.
