Matt knows what kind of band Soundgarden is. The creativity they had together as a band and the albums they came up with were remarkable. He’d be a fool to stay with Pearl Jam and pass this up. Hence, the coming of this reunion.

While I feel PJ and matt have grown together. I still feel Dave was a better fit for their style at first. He was loose and laid back, matt is a drumming machine and can keep time better than anyone. His style of drumming fits Soundgarden. Who knows what is to come, I am curious to find out.

While I agree Cornell’s voice isn’t what it was it’s still pretty immense and I think to suit his voice it’ll sound a little more laid back this time but great nonetheless. One thing I’d love to see would be a website giving us teasers of rehearsal footage followed by a dvd same style as PJ’s Single Video Theory. I don’t ask for much!
