Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, is doing an art show called “Scumfuck” under the name “Fiddle Tim.” A lot of the art reminds me of drawings from Kurt Cobain’s journal, she’s definitely got a lot of her old man in her. “Scumfuck” is a notebook show. The centerpiece of this exhibition is a portrait of G.G. Allin -the only among the dozen drawings included in this exhibition to reference fame of any kind. The fact that the this subject sought fame at any cost juxtaposes the chosen anonymity of the artist. This exhibition is an important pop-culture event, with artwork priced quite affordably. Prices and images are slowly posting, and a complete preview is forthcoming.

I’ve sat on my thinking chair for a whole day and come to the conclusion that Nirvana is overated and I don’t care for them a whole bunch.

I’m 100% with Vinny on this one, hahaha. It’s neat and all, but overall just meh. Also, if she’s gonna have written words on her art, maybe she should think of something else besides “Do this or I’ll eat the sun.” It may be a little critical for the art of a young teenage girl, but because of who she is related to, she has a whole lot to live up to if anything she does is ever gonna impress me.
The third one from the bottom is of GG Allin! Must be the one called scumfuck. GG Allin was a deranged man to say the least
I think the only reason this is news is because it’s from someone related to someone famous. I could draw something better and it would get 0 attention, except maybe from my parents or something lame.

pretty intersting. Considering all that Frances has been through in life, I can understand the intensity in the art.
I think it’s cool that she has chosen to persue an artistic path in life.
I think I read that she has done some singing and theater as well.
Awesome artwork! Truly mature and skilled! Hope she goes far in the art world! I’d definately buy a piece if it was accessible! The exhibition title was a bit try-hard though.
