Hole frontwoman Courtney Love posted an apology to her daughter on her Twitter page: Bean, sorry I believed the gossip.. Mommy loves you
With this apology and her reunion with the original Hole lineup, it looks like Courtney is trying to do damage control.
Too late the damage has been done. Good to see the original members performing together.
If Courtney is sincere with the apology, then that’s a good thing. However, she should maybe learn to just keep her mouth shut about this kind of stuff (or maybe everything).

The fact that it took Frances responding and setting things straight to convince Courtney that the rumors are bullshit is pretty messed up, and makes an apology seem disingenuous.
It’s her own daughter yet she relies on gossip. Sad

The accusation was disgusting but in Courtney’s defense her tweets said she had heard a rumor and were made in a private profile only followed by her friends. It wasn’t suppossed to go public. Frances is right though, Courtney should be banned from the internet.

It’s obvious her comments were a publicity stunt to garner her band more attention for their reunion. It’s also obvious Brett is willing to post anything for hits despite integrity or credibility. Remember the Layne incident. I guess Brett’s just like Courtney.

I agree with many of you guys for your take on this situation. She should NEVER have posted or said anything about her “theories,” “rumors” or whatever the hell she wants to call them. It was very disrespectful to Frances AND Dave. If she cares about her daughter and hopes to someday make peace, this does not help her cause.
Also, Dave Grohl is owed a huge apology because her comments are slanderous and technically he could sue her. Nonetheless I will give her props for apologizing.
