CHRIS CORNELL SAYS SOUNDGARDEN STILL HAVEN’T NAMED THEIR NEW ALBUM
Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell was interviewed on WMMR and mentioned that Soundgarden still haven’t decided on a name for their new album. He said they’re close to being at a point where they have to decide. What do you, the readers of GrungeReport.net, think the album should be called? If Live to Rise actually makes the album, how about calling it ‘Warm My Face.’ Sex sells!
He also said that Live to Rise isn’t indicative of a new sound for the band, just like their past singles didn’t indicate the sound of their albums. Mentioned that there are moment of new sounds on the new album.
I care about the music, not the title, now give us new songs in this tour!!
I hope they come up with a cool name like all there previous albums and it is not just self titled.
Although I guess a self titled could be appropriate as a reunion album which represents the Soundgarden sound evolving. Good to hear there are some new ‘sounds’ in the mix – look forward to hearing the progression.

Aww, I thought Chris said Kim made up a title like 6 months ago! And no, I can’t even begin to think of a title without hearing the music.

Part of a song lyric from an album is always a safe bet. They could look for the coolest lyric they’ve got and use that. Less boring than self titled.
It should be called “Meh…”
I’d be down with a self-titled, they haven’t had one and I think it’s about time. Sorta like Pearl Jam’s “Avocado” record.

I bet you all didnt know that . I have some insider info on my cousins band that will shock you all to hell. I have actually heard most of the finished demos for the new album and its really really good 
Its a good mix of Bad Motorfinger, Superunknown, and Down On The Upside with a twist: its more heavy punk rocking , a little more grungey and at times, 1960s psychedic jimmy hendrix style guitar playing from Kim, that will blow your fucking minds!!!
AND YES ONCE FOR ALL, SOUNDGARDENS NEW ALBUM WILL BE NAMED “SONIC HEAVEN”
AND IT WILL BE RELEASED ON CD: SEPTEMBER 24, 2012. Adam Kasper and Soundgarden are producing the album this time, the only song that is kinda mainstream and modern rock sounding is the Avengers movie soundtrack single: Live To Rise. If people want to download it, thats their choice, but im saying for those who cant download it , or just dont have the p2p file sharing sites available to them, you will just have to wait til the finished album comes out ok?? People have been downloading demos from rock bands for years. Before Audioslaves first album came out in 2002, they were called Civilian and some people downloaded copies of sounds like We Got The Whip, Turn To Gold ok?? So i know what im talking about here.
