Pearl Jam have always been a good alternative to dumb 1980s heavy metal music because each of the band members care about the social political environment we are now living in. But the band forget about what it means to be political. It means to solve problems, to come up with good ideals that INVOLVES aspects of all government, not just democratic but republican , independant. The more Pearl Jam espouse their support in one man alone , like in this case: President Barrack Obama, they more narrow minded they become, telling everyone that Obama is the only good choice?? Well im sure if your a popular grunge rock band making lots of money and pretending to care about the planet , pretending to preach the gospels about big government helping us in everyday aspects of life,you would continue to support only 1 man, but a real smart musician like lets say Dave Mustang ( Megadeath ) and Tom Morello ( Rage ) would look at ALL CANDIDATES AND THEIR POSITIONS without holding some unfair bias against one political party. Its not so much that Pearl Jam love Obama or Chris Cornell loves Obama but its the simple fact this rock band doesnt seem to care about other political ideas, other political voices in our mainstream society pop culture which is really troubling. So because if you like Pearl Jam so much, YOU HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE WAY THEY ARE VOTING?? Well then fuck that , I love PEARL JAM but as an independant , I cannot agree with their views 100% of the time. How come Pearl Jam didnt support Ralph Nader on the Green Party Ticket of 2000 and 2008? Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell seem to have this overwhelming feeling of discontent, disdain for all Republicans and conservative thinking American people why?? This is a deeper issue that Grunge Rock music alone cannot solve, but thats why i wrote this long article Enjoy and YES EVEN THE MAYAN GODS CARE ABOUT THE USA AND WANT EVERYONE TO LIVE A BETTER SAFER NATION FULL OF GOOD IDEALS, GOOD POLICYS, GOOD PRESIDEDNTIAL CHOICES AND GOOD ROCK MUSIC
