STONE TEMPLE PILOTS MEMBERS PLAYED PAINTBALL BEFORE LAST NIGHT’S SHOW
Scott Weiland and Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots were spotted playing paintball at Richmond Indoor Paintball about 3-4 hours before their show in Abbotsford, Canada was scheduled to start last night. STP wound up showing up 2 hours late for their performance, no official word on if this had anything to do with it but it could be an explanation.

I don’t give a fuck what they were doing before the show. THE POINT IS THAT PEOPLE PAY SERIOUS CASH FOR THOSE TICKETS AND THESE FUCKERS OWE THEIR FANS THE RESPECT TO AT LEAST SHOW UP ON TIME. This isn’t 1968 and tickets are not $6.00, you can easily drop $200 for two in a night. This unprofessional crap is BULLSHIT. By the way, I have been backstage with Scott Weiland before and the guy is the biggest egotistical dick I ever saw. All the other guys were cool as hell (Slash, Duff, Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez) and seemed pleased to be there. Not Weiland. He was demanding everyone be barred from his majesty’s presence. He needs to wake the fuck up.
I do agree with Scott on this. Come on! Paintball? Don’t tell me this is seriously going to be the excuse. Like Scott said, people pay cash to see a band they want to see play a show. Unless it’s some serious emergency then I don’t see an excuse. Paintball….

Weiland pulled this mess when I saw them in 2010 too. STP came out an hour late and people that work for the local rock stations were texting my friend saying he was backstage wasted and they were trying to get him sober enough to go on. They finally came on an hour late and he was just given this drunken ramble and finally the band just started playing so he would just shut up and sing.

Fuck, if I was rich I’d play paintball instead of going to work. Fuck it. STP rules and I was at the Holmdel 08 show where we waited 90 mins. It was awesome, gave me more time to get drunk and stoned before the show started. Don’t see a problem with that.
Oh and also who has never showed up 2 hours late to work cause they were dickin around, getting drunk/high, or getting laid or something. Give the guys a break. I would make a million people wait 2 hours if I was gettin a quality blowjob.
They just cancelled their show in Alberta Canada. Reason was stated that Scott is on vocal cord rest.
I was a huge fan. He forgot lyrics to his own songs. He was eating a fucking sandwich while singing! I have been a fan for years and years and years and I have seen them 4 times live. That was the last time I will ever ever do it again. Scott, u were so cool. Now I have no respect. Its a pity.
they did the same thing in Thunder bay. played paintball and were 2 hours late for the show. but they put on a good show ap who cares.
