FAITH NO MORE FRONTMAN MIKE PATTON’S BAND TOMAHAWK RELEASING NEW ALBUM IN JANUARY

Faith No More frontman Mike Patton’s band Tomahawk is releasing their first new album in 6 years, Oddfellows, on January 29th. Tomahawk consists of Mike Patton, ex-The Jesus Lizard guitarist Duane Denison, ex-Helmet drummer John Stanier, and current Melvins Lite bassist Trevor Dunn.

You can listen to the new single “Stone Letter” on SPIN.com. It will be released on Record Store Day on November 23rd on vinyl and digitally on December 4th. Below are tour dates:

October 27 – Nashville, TN @ Exit Inn
October 28 – New Orleans, LA @ Voodoo Fest
October 29, – Memphis, TN @ New Daisy Theater
October 31 – Dallas, TX @ Granada Theatre
November 1 – Houston, TX @ Fitzgerald’s
November 2 – Austin, TX @ Fun Fun Fun Fest

    Didn’t like “Stone Letter”, sounds like a demo to me. Still, I’m excited for this album. Trevor Dunn (Melvins, Mr Bungle) will be on it.

    Can’t wait. “Stone Letter” is a little ‘meh’ but Stanier’s drumming saves it. I find all 3 of Tomahawk’s albums impressive, and they are a blast live, so I’m really looking forward to this release / tour.
