You can check out my 2011 pre-Christmas song (released last year) called “Problehem” Of course it doesn’t rise to the level of Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney but what does. His song is really one of the best of Christmas. Anyone notice some (perhaps) influence on a big hit (intro) by the Foos from last year. Also one of my fav songs of all time.
My idea actually is like going the opposite direction of electro Christmas pop. Mine is more like the we-were-born-out-of-our-real life sad moments, not perfect, immaculate, or pristine. My kind of grunge.
Getting to Scott’s Christmas songs, I can’t wait to listen to them. Cool! Maybe even a bit cold, but I hope slightly edgy and grunge-style Christmas songs. Maybe I should pray for that.
I meant Rope. What a great song! I bought Wasting Light twice and gave one copy for my nieces and hope that influences them.
I wish Scott would rest his great voice for a few months–he needs to before he can’t recover it

Scott Weiland rules, I’ve seen him 4 times. Three times with STP and once with Velvet Revolver. He has the vocal range and baritone to do Christmas classics. Just because he is a 90′s alternative group, it’s hard to get credit when you are singing songs made classic by guys like Martin, Crosby, Sinatra, etc.
If Scott is as bad of shape of people think or say, there’s no way STP would be able to tour. I just saw them Sept. 11 and they were really tight. Scott looks really healthy, he’s gain a lot of weight back, he was rail think 8 years ago in VR.
Weiland looks like a SS soldier with that haircut.

Oh no, not again. He canceled on me last year at this “Scott does Christmas” doozy.
