SOUNDGARDEN REVEAL THAT ‘EYELID’S MOUTH’ IS WHAT BEGAN THE PROCESS OF MAKING KING ANIMAL

By: 7 November 2012 5 Comments

In the new Eyelid’s Mouth commentary, Kim Thayil revealed that Eyelid’s Mouth was the first song recorded as a demo for Soundgarden’s new album King Animal. Matt Cameron had a rough version done with riffs and drums, and he wanted to hear it fleshed out by Chris, Kim, and Ben. He told them he wanted them to get in the studio and play it and see what they thought.
