Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland will perform at the Groove in Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 10th. The show is the latest to be announced for his solo ‘Greatest Hits’ tour. Stone Temple Pilots also performed a ‘Greatest Hits’ tour this past summer. Stone Temple Pilots and The Scott Weiland Band have not announced any plans for new material. STP guitarist Dean DeLeo said in an interview in September that the band were discouraged at the lack of a crowd response when playing deep cuts/new material. DeLeo also said that the band’s plan for 2013 is a big Core 20th anniversary tour, despite Core’s 20th anniversary being in September 2012 along with DeLeo and Weiland both claiming earlier that the summer 2012 tour would be a Core tour.
