They are really changing up their setlists now, is this the first time they didn’t end with Slaves and Bulldozers in over two decades?

I was at this show last night, it was incredible. Soundgarden sounded amazing. The crowd in Toronto was great. “Incessant Mace” was played after “Black Hole Sun”.

Incessant Mace was second song of encore; Jesus Christ Pose set-listed but not played.

i will die a happy man if they play loud love and hands all over in minneapolis.

They ended Irving Plaza with Rusty Cage & they ended the Letterman show with Rowing. They also didn’t end with S&B half the shows this year. You obviously don’t follow their setlists…

    @Jack Irons,

I should have phrased that differently, I mean on their tour in general. It was previously a staple of the ending of their encore. I made a comment on the sgworld forums a week or so ago about how I thought Rowing was a great set ender too

STILL NO BONES OF BIRDS??? WHAT R THEY WAITING FOR!?

this looks like a great set to me!!!

flower! what an unexpected, yet awesome opener!

glad to hear incessant mace was the final tune……

just add blind dogs, head down and 4th of july as a 1st encore then beyond, jcp and slaves as the final encore!

Did they play the audio track of Cornell during Rowing? I find that odd.

I do see your point, at least it’s not as bad as ending EVERY show with Everlong like the Foos…

They played the track during rowing at Irving & Letterman. I don’t think it’s feasable for Chirs to sing it without.

Wow…a show that didn’t start with Search With My Good Eye Closed! Finally put that one out to pasture. (Although if I saw them, I would still want to hear it, cuz it rules)

I Need to hear Bones of Birds live or my heads gonna explode!

^^^^^ great tune. do you love the album as much as i do? its my favorite EVER

I like it more than BMF and SU. DOTU is legendary and cant be touched. BMF is primal powerful, and sucks after Room A Thousand Years Wide IMO. Superunknown, every track is good, zero fillers, but its just simply not my second choice. King Animal is great because IMO, it is an album with 11 singles (excluding Eyelids and Halfway there[which is unfortunately a single]). Its a great album.

This looks incredible!A great mix of classic with excellent new tunes. I’ve finally settled on my two personal King Animal favorites, …’Rowing’ and the demo version of ‘A Thousand Days Before’ (love that eastern influence). I’m really hoping they play these when I see them next year in Chicago & Milwaukee.

@SuperSG I can’t say i agree with you about last few tracks of BMF. Mind Riot and Holy Water are great tracks. I find that i can rarely listen to slaves and new damage tho.
I do agree with DOTU being my fave. That’s prob why Taree is my fave track on King Animal, because it was written around then and has that same vibe as tighter and tighter, switch opens, overfloater….haunting vocals.

The best part about King Animal is that it succeeds at doing what every Soundgarden album has done prior to it, and that’s being different than the last. KA is a progression from DOTU, but still different.

It is funny that a lot of ppl are digging Rowing, when i wonder if they have heard Lost Cause (a bside from Scream). Ppl love hating on that album, but the base idea of Rowing comes from that song,no doubt in my mind.
