Rock bands Hurt and Smile Empty Soul recently performed a pretty cool cover of Alice in Chains’ classic “No Excuses” for rock radio station Banana 101.5. The song will later be released as a download with benefits going to charity. Check it out here!

Hurt is the most underrated band of the past decade.
I saw Hurt when they opened for Alice In Chains in Winston Salem in October 2006. They were good. Loud as hell.
First time I saw Will sing too.

Hurt is amazing. Saw them at a little bar in town here on their acoustic tour. They were great, and I talked to the band after the show, although I was extremely drunk. I’ve been a fan of Smile Empty Soul since they came onto the scene. They did a really good cover of Sarah McLachalan’s Posession as well that I really dig.
