Boring. I wish these people would let Soundgarden perform this song. LAME. So lame. They are taking the Seattle sound out of a song that needs it. Crown of thorns, Christ. This sucked. Alright. It is terrible.

I saw her live in Los Angeles a few weeks ago and she did this

Is it as good as the original? Of course not, but props to her for paying homage to an awesome band and having great taste in music

She is an incredible singer, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZzipGrKzu4

I don’t get this whole idea that if a band covers one of our sacred Seattle bands that they’re immediately taking a shit on the song. Some versions are better than others, but I don’t get that attitude. Even if the band isn’t in your style range, take a look at the song/version individually. I thought Evanescence’s cover of 4th of July was mostly pretty good.

I actually think this is a really good cover. It’s not just a note for note, bland cover but it still has that same feeling. For a song that is instantly identifiable as a recording, that’s not that easy to pull off. Also, if any of you have seen Soundgarden play BHS live, or looked at youtube vids, that song is probably one of their worst live songs, in terms of it translating live (excluding the MTV Live ‘n’ Loud preformance)

    Just sayin’.
