It should be noted that the following twitter rant took place after the band performed at a festival in Cologne, Germany.
Garbage was in Latvia, too, and she didn’t say shitty stuff about us. Our prime minister sent her twelwe red roses.
just wanted to proudly share that.
Oh dear, sounds like somebody just opened up the gates of negativity…I wonder how this is gonna go down with her band mates?
And some say Billy is an a-hole. Damn this is just unacceptable. Please Shirley, make amends.

This is really sad to read. I remember back in the day, I think it was around the end of the Version 2.0 era, on the Garbage website there was a huge, and I mean really huge, collection of emails that Shirley had personally responded to. It’s sad to see how far things have slipped.

Somebody sounds like they’re 5 years old. Must be mad cause her terrible band never took off from the ground. Playing in the chucklefuck musichole to a bunch of drunks who realize your music sucks must get pretty old after a while
Yeh it got out of hand but it must be kinda lame if your audience is acting half interested. Conner read into the comment too far and Shirley went overboard. twitter is a harsh place.
