Dinosaur Jr. Guitarist J Mascis is one name of a long line of guest stars for the next season of the IFC sketch comedy show Portlandia. Mascis isn’t the first musician to star on the show – former Sleater-Kinney memeber Corin Tucker, The Shin’s Jame Mercer & The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy teamed up as “Echo Echo” – a fictional indie band. Mascis isn’t the first 90′s rock star to make a cameo on the show either as Eddie Vedder also guest starred last season.

Other big names who are set to appear on Portlandia include: Roseanne Barr, Patton Oswalt, Juliette Lewis, George Wendt, Rose Byrne, Bill Hader, Bobby Moyniham, Jim Gaffigan, Matt Berry, Matt Lucas and Martina Navratilova
