Foo Fighters frontman Dace Grohl was on hand on Saturday at the 2012 Kennedy Honors Center to celebrate the contributions of rock and roll legends Led Zeppelin.
The band along with talk show host David Letterman, blues singer Buddy Guy and actor Dustin Hoffman were recognized for their contributions to American culture. Grohl who was also joined by fellow rock star Lenny Kravitz gave the following quote to the Associated Press about the event and about Led Zeppelin:
“My teachers were Led Zeppelin… They were the most powerful thing in my life.”
Grohl recently went on hiatus from his band this past year. However, I think the wet dream for all of us rock fans would have to be a Led Zeppelin reunion tour with Grohl on drums.

No way, I’d rather hear a new Them Crooked Vultures album than have Grohl drumming for Zep.
Would you settle for a new QoTSA album with Dave on drums? Cause we’re deffo getting that.
Well considering Dave idolizes John Bonham, I’m betting playing with LZ would be a dream come true for him as well.
yeah, i would love another Them Crooked Vultures album.
Jason Bonham did a fantastic job for the last Zep reunion in 2007… no need for Dave to join. Agreed, another TCV album is something I’d kill for.
