EDDIE VEDDER TO HOST NEW SHOW ON SIRIUSXM’S PEARL JAM RADIO

By: 3 December 2012 12 Comments

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder is set to host his own radio show “The Eddie Vedder Radio Show” on SiriusXM’s Pearl Jam Radio station beginning on Wednesday at 5PM ET. It will be a limited run show, the end date has not yet been revealed.

“Eddie has been the voice of a generation and a voice with a conscience,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer, in a statement. “[His] record collection could tell some stories all by itself, let alone with Eddie at the helm.”

It should be interesting to see what type of things Eddie will talk about on the show.  Maybe Sean Penn can be his Baba Booey.  Let’s just hope it works out better than David Lee Roth’s 2006 radio show!

thew 1995 pj pirate radio show ed hosted was by far one of the coolest things to hit the airwaves!!!!

foo fighters demo debut, live soundgarden, mudhoney, fastbacks and mad season!!! 2 live sets from pj, endless cool records spun like sonic youth, weapon of choice, a phone call to mike watt, etc, etc!

    Will he be broadcasting barefoot?

At least he won’t have to disguise the Gatorade in a wine bottle since it will be on radio. We’ll still have to listen to his smoke ravaged voice though, no disguising that!

They should call it “The Minister Vedder hour” since all he’ll be doing is preaching!!

Hey Jack if you hate Ed so much why are you obsessed with him?

Trolling just wastes YOUR time you know ;)

Honestly, I’m jealous of Jack and his ilk. I sincerely wish my time was so worthless that I could endlessly complain about the same pointless thing over and over again and pretend people gave a fuck instead of contributing something useful to an otherwise good website.

Unfortunately, I have way more important things to do.

Love to hear Eddie’s show though…

It really doesn’t consume that much time… I check the site once or twice a day and spend 30 seconds to a minute each time.
What good would a site be of all EV kiss asses saying how every show was the greatest moment of their lives? It wouldn’t! Opposing opinions are what make this country great! I’m not hurting anyone, I’m not personally insulting anyone on this site… What does it matter to you? Don’t read my comments if you don’t like them.

    EV is a clown!!

Hopefully we finally get a Ed- Howard stern interview now

BLEE-AA-CH. When will this sonofabitch ever croak from his lies and shit? Now they’re giving him a platform to tell more lies and shit. Fuck you, Eddie Vedder, FUCK YOU!

I hope he does better on radio than he does on stage. His stories of his children and getting high get old after a while. Honestly, I don’t know if he tells the same stories every night, but he repeated two stories in the two times I saw him solo.

Jack Irons, use your own advice and don’t read Eddie Vedder articles if you don’t like him. It makes you look like a zilch with nothing better to do.

Maybe try porn if you’re lonely. There’s tons of free shit out there.

You don’t like Vedder. He’s a “hypocrite” and all that other jibber jabber. Good. We got it.

    Congratulations on you observational ability.
