Here, listen to this new crap for an hour. If you’re still around, we’ll play the songs you used to like.

This show was, in a word, perfect. Great selection of oldies and a great performance of the new album that should please new and old listeners alike. The “Space Oddity” cover was transcendent.

I have to get a recorded copy of this show somehow.

Why don’t they play the old good crap first then the new stuff, so all their true fans can stick around.

probably cause the true fans found this to be their best album since who knows when. Its like a breath of fresh air after that garbage they released called zeitgeist…true fans listen to the album more than once, have you? Just saying. Upon first listen, via Spotify, I wasn’t so impressed and kept skipping through the songs. I bought the entire album to prepare for the show and fell in love, once again. with a masterpiece. It grows on me more with each listen. Besides, that perfomance, was A+. The best of the four smashing pumpkins shows I’ve seen anyway.
