DAVE GROHL SAYS THEM CROOKED VULTURES WILL REUNITE SOMEDAY

Dave Grohl gave the following quote to CBS after performing at the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday. The talk was about his side project Them Crooked Vultures
“We’ve talked about it, I know that someday [Them Crooked Vultures will] get back together and do stuff, because we love playing with each other,”
Grohl also spilled to CBS that he also has no plans to tour with Queens of the Stone Age in the future.
I hope they don’t just play some lives shows… record a follow up please!
I’m praying for this next album to happen. Dave said he’s not touring behind the new QotSA album he’s drumming on, so maybe him and JPJ get together while Josh is on the road and start writing?
Them Crooked Vultures is/was the best project Dave Grohl and Josh Homme worked on since the 90s… hopefully they do it again real soon. They were “supposed” to make a follow-up record like right away, but it never happened.
i hope they release a second album. the first was epic and i just need a little more JPJ
I too really hope that Them Crooked Vultures make another record and I hope it is sooner rather than later. There first album was really a great breath of fresh air.
JPJ will only have so much time. Don’t wait! Unless they get Jeff Ament to fill in on bass!
TCV are the balls. The album was sick & I caught their Boston House of Blues show . . . . legendary.
I can’t wait for more work from this band, and noone but JPJ will do for this project. I love Ament, & plenty of other bassists, but the JPJ / Grohl rhythm section is what made it so incredibly unique. Any other bassist, and it’s a QOTSA album.
