STREAM NIRVANA AND EDDIE VEDDER’S PERFORMANCES TONIGHT IN NEW YORK
Nirvana (with Paul McCartney) and Eddie Vedder are among the many scheduled to perform at the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert in New York. The stream starts at 7:30PM EST. Here’s a bright idea, how about having Eddie perform with Nirvana for a song?

It isn’t Nirvana. The media misled people with the headline. It was never announced by the actual people behind this event as nirvana. It is Dave Grohl and friends. Get it straight.
Sounded Fine to me. The Lyrics were sorta dumb but McCartney was shredding on what looks to me like a Dobro? Good for a jam song

For those of you who find this objectionable, Kurt worshiped the Beatles and even specifically stated his formula for the band was Black Sabbath meets the Beatles, so there’s that. Also, Paul is 100 times more punk rock than any of you.

You give grunge a bad name running the site like this, and tarnish the definition of what “grunge” means/meant. Get a clue. This was the surviving members of Nirvana playing with Paul to play a brand new song from the SOUND CITY MOVIE SOUNDTRACK – NOT NIRVANA!!! This is NOT a Nirvana song, they did NOT perform as Nirvana, and Krist, Dave, and Pat all say the same thing – “not a Nirvana reunion, just jamming with Paul to make a Sound City Movie Soundtrack collaboration”
