I would have liked to see Eddie get three song spot to play on his own, but even Chris Martin was cut short thanks to Billy Joel. Even so, it was a nice touch.

It would’ve been much better if PEARL JAM, the whole band, was there. A 90′s flashback with Nirvana wouldn’t hurt at all!

I’m usually not a fan of when singers join other singers on stage. Rarely does it work, but Eddie really did pretty well here. Did anyone else notice the words written on his fingers when EV started singing? He seemed to have his hands open around the mic facing him, maybe in case he forgot the words? This isn’t a bad idea, as I’ve been to several PJ shows where he messed up the words to his own songs. Michael Stipe always had a music stand with lyrics. Very rarely did he have to use it, but it was always there just in case.

Great performance. “Wish You Were Here” would’ve been amazing.

Yeah, it’s difficult to remember lyrics, especially when someone’s written so many of them.

Give EV a break on remembering lyrics to songs he wrote. I mean, he only gets paid millions of dollars to perform. Why should he have to remember lyrics?? Such a trivial thing…
