LISTEN TO MARK LANEGAN AND SLASH’S SONG “SO LONG SIN CITY”
From SlashOnline.com:
Check out the song “So Long Sin City” that Slash composed with Mark Lanegan for the film, This Is Not A Movie (2011), directed by Olalla Rubio, and starring Edward Furlong, Peter Coyote, Miguel Ferrer, and more.

ZOMG. They need to form a band.
I swear I have heard this track before… not sure where, but I’m sure I have heard it a while back.
So cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool! Love!!!
Hey the director of the movie is “Olallo” no “Olalla”
Solid song, should have kept it for Sin City 2
Slash’s stuff is getting pretty boring.Altough I enjoyed Lanegan.
It has actually been available earlier, to be honest I had totally forgot about it though.

this is one of those extremely rare occasions where I say, I don’t really care for a song that includes Mark Lanegan. Slash just doesn’t do it for me anymore, something very generic about his work….

I remember hearing this song some months ago and not being excited about it. The lyrics were pretty cheesy and the song wasn’t that great.
Sounds like Metallica’s cover of “Turn The Page.”
Slash is good, but he suffers from Satch and Santana Syndrome… his stuff runs together after a while when kept within the same genre. This is why it’s easier to think of him as a Blues guitarist, makes the music much more enjoyable.
You already posted this on your site in the Spring Brett…
Pedal Faster…
better post Creature with the atob brain featuring Mark Lanegan songs (about 5 of them) They fucking kick ass, and the band is great. Slash is shit.
*atom brain of course
Wow, great tune. I hear some real chemistry there. I liked Slash’s last album, but I’d rather see Slash work with Mark than with Myles Kennedy.
