By: 23 December 2012 13 Comments

JT sent in word that Stone Temple Pilots’ Vasoline and Alice In Chains’ Rooser are featured in the new film This Is Forty. The film is directed by Judd Apatow and stars Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Jason Segal, and Megan Fox. It is a spinoff/sort of sequel to the 2007 film Knocked Up. The two songs are heard for close to a minute each in the film, Rooster is used during an important plot point.

Rooster… what an original choice to pick AiC song.

Is it a bad choice, though?

An AIC song for almost a minute during an important plot point? That’s pretty cool. Almost makes me wanna watch the movie.

I bought “Singles” on DVD just to watch the small part where Alice performs.

Cool, I’ve seen a lot of photos of Scott and Layne, but I’ve never seen those two photos of them. That’s what you look like before you do drugs, healthy.

Actually, Scott may be high in that pic.

I wish STP would get their shit together.

I remember hearing Rooster in Terminator: Salvation. I clapped.

Layne looks great but very high in the pic. His pupils are dilated

Yeah, great songs but I don’t know that film.

Such a disgrace to Alice to put one of their songs in a Paul Rudd shit fest film. Go suck a dick Hollywood.

When “Rooster” was used in that crappy Terminator sequel, I thought it was awesome. By far the best 30 seconds of that film.
