Why can’t they spice up the set-list at all?!???!?!??!?

I really think they need to put more of their earlier songs in their setlists, e.g.

    Stone Cold Bush
    Knock Me Down
    Get Up And Jump
    Fight Like A Brave
    Show Me Your Soul
Their cover of Subterranean Homesick Blues
    Yertle The Turtle
    Magic Johnson

Those songs would be fucking awesome live

I agree they should mix it up more, usually I find when touring a record you never really hear as many hits. Sometimes it’s better when band tour before an album drops or just start playing random shows.

If you go to http://www.setlist.fm and you can see tour info and song stats. They’ve played Higher Ground nearly 100 times, but not ventured to far back into more 80s songs. Fight Like a Brave and Knock Me Down weren’t even brought out on this tour.

i agree the setlist needs mixed up, and Higher Ground came out in 1989. so it was a “80′s” song. But i think after Californication, theyve lost that magic they had and become stuck in a rut, they need a new producer and to change things up a bit.

One of the most boring live acts around.

I think RHCP has great live energy in their shows. Some of those guys are pushing 50, and in pretty damn good shape. I have a few friends that have seen them on this tour, and past tours, and thought they were awesome both times. I had a ticket to one of this tour’s shows that got cancelled due to Anthony’s foot surgery. The re-do date didn’t work for me though. I hope to catch them next time around!
