I wonder what they talked about?
I absolutely LOVE this photo. I would just love to sit back, have a beer, a blunt and a conversation with these guys.
hahahahaha good caption brett
Sean Penn looks totally baked here. I wish I’d been there!
How many bottles of wine do you think penn and eddie went thru that night each? They look like a match made in heaven.
Wow all liberal leftist commies. Penn hates America and loves Chavez….Maher is a LUNATIC and also is a commie…Vedder is a devote liberal. DISGUSTING!
I love pearl jam and I like ed. but i really liked ed a lot more when he was not political.
sean penn looks like he wants to invade ed.
@Jeanne: So true … so true!
Bill Maher. The man.
@Chris – ‘I love pearl jam and I like ed. but i really liked ed a lot more when he was not political.’ Umm… didn’t he write pro-choice on his arm back during the MTV Unplugged in 1992? Guess you liked him before he started singing for Pearl Jam.
@JMV. Okay fine u want to argue semantics. *rolls eyes*. I liked Ed a lot more before he hung out with famous celebrities who wanted to be political. And I liked Ed a lot more before he wanted to do political fundraising and Presidential benefits. When he was more about music and just wrote stuff on his arm, I liked Ed a lot better. Are you content now JMV.
3 unmarried liberal d-bags at their finest. Sean Penn is such a freakin loser and Vedder should of stuck to singer. Bill has always been a complete tool who’s always wrong about everything he says. He just to stupid to know whats going on.
3 unmarried d-bags? Ed is married you twat. Get a life.
I’m not saying I would agree with everything they said, but I bet it would have been a far more thought-provoking & entertaining evening than if it were spent with Jeanne, Rush Limbaugh & Sarah Palin. Although I have to admit Sarah Palin is funny as hell. Not on purpose, but still …
If they leaned forward horizontally they’d make one hell of a human centipede.
I love Grunge but most of Seattle and WA in general is FAR left, so it is not surprising that these bands from there lean toward Obama and so on, but really, just stick to singing. Like with Cornell and his Obama shows, it really makes me not want to listen to them at all anymore. I am sure MY BAND (AIC is left but you don’t hear about it, and that’s how I prefer it, although I get the impression Layne might have been more libertarian, especially later in life).
Anyone who hangs with Penn and Maher is a dbag in my book, because neither one can have an intelligent coversation or discuss things with the other side without going to personal attacks.
@Blown Up World-Agreed. I don’t completely agree with everything either, but it would be interesting to hear a conversation between those guys. And Sarah Palin is at her funniest when she is trying to be her most intellectual and serious. I miss Tina Fey’s impressions of her. She nailed it!
@Chainsgarden2013 – people of your intelligence are the problem with this world. First, Vedder is married. Second, it’s “should have” not “should of”. Finally, and this is the kicker, you wrote he is “to stupid” to know what’s going on. Ummmm…it’s too stupid, not to stupid. See the irony? Probably not…you’re not intelligent enough to understand elementary grammar let alone the meaning of irony.
