Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots were recently referenced on the new TBS comedy series Wedding Band, starring former Beverly Hills 90210 star/Megan Fox’s husband Brian Austin Green. Green’s character gives a tour of Seattle’s music scene’s history, including where Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love met (though they actually met in Oregon) and somebody asks, in broken English, when will they get to see Stone Temple Pilots. Green’s character replies: “Stone Temple Pilots, they’re actually from San Diego, Orange County…um, I’ll explain later.”
