Someone on twitter said to me “I thought you were all about women’s rights. How can you get on stage and play Ava Adore? must be all about the money.”  Well the fact that he knows I’m for women’s rights means I must be doing something right. At least I am vocal about being a feminist and do what I can to assist in the on going battle for equal rights for all human beings regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, etc. So pardon me for getting up on stage and playing a badass song with a legendary band. I apologize if that offends you sir

She’s right who gives a fuck if it is going slightly against what she is for!
I mean, it is an awesome song from an awesome album and awesome band.
Sorry everyone for the alliteration and repetition.

I really like this chick – she seems very brilliant. Good find, Billy.

I don’t get it… What’s sexist about ‘Ava Adore’? I never considered that or any of Billy’s songs to be sexist, ‘Bitches ain’t shit’ by Dr Dre and Snoop on the other hand is a slight bit sexist I admit.

Is it viewed as sexist because it uses the word “whore”? By listening to the rest of the lyrics, I don’t believe it can be interpreted as sexism.

I never disliked D’Arcy by any means, but she didn’t bring much to the table. D’Arcy rarely seemed to enjoy playing, and it was apparent she was going through the motions a majority of the last couple years she was with the band. I prefer Nicole because she’s a solid musician, not just someone who can get by playing bass.
