Matt Pinfield interviewed Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan on MTV’s Hivecast recently. As the interview started Corgan and Pinfield joked about being bald, BillCo sarcastically said, “You can’t see under this hat but I’m growing a full prop of hair, you’ll see.” He elaborated by talking about his overall lack of body hair, “My father used to tell me, Corgans is a species, you know we don’t have a lot of body hair, I don’t know if people really want to know that. But he used to tell me it’s because we’re more evolved than other humans.”

BillCo also discussed the positive response to Oceania setting up the band for even more with the next album, “Now that the door is open to people being open to what we’re going to do, now this is a real opportunity to come with a classic album.”
