RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS REQUEST NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER & CALVIN KLEIN T-SHIRTS ON TOUR RIDER

By: 13 January 2013 8 Comments

The Daily Telegraph is reporting some details from the Red Hot Chili Peppers tour rider for their upcoming Australia tour dates. They report that the band requested non-alcoholic beer, goats cheese, soy milk, raw unsalted cashews, Calvin Klein t-shirts, raisins, and malt balls. Not quite the Guns N’ Roses early 90′s tour rider.

Calvin Klein t-shirts smh, definition of sell-outs. Common guys, you can do it better than that.

The Tshirt thing is probably about consistance. There’s no uniformity between quality and sizing on tshirts. They probably found one that worked and stuck with it, rather then get different tshirts every night.

I’m actually working this year’s Sydney DO and will have access to them, so I’ll try say “Hi” and post back if I get a chance.

And I have seen some crazy rider requests, having worked in Artist Liaison roles in the past for the likes of Skrillex, New Order, Fat Boy Slim, Die Antwood, Gym Class Heroes, etc. An unnamed band only asked for aluminium foil… crack smokers?

I always wondered how different people would view the drug had it not been named “crack…” Def not advocating it in any way, but really… crack??
