Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder attended and performed at the second annual ‘Sean Penn and Friends Help Haiti Home Gala’ in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday night. I guess Ed forgave Jon Bon Jovi for Bon Jovi’s 1995 “Something For The Pain” music video. The video mocked popular 90′s artists including Vedder, Scott Weiland, Courtney Love, and Tupac Shakur. Listen, you fuckers: the best music Eddie has released in the last 15 years was because of Sean Penn. Yes, I’m referring to his Into The Wild album. Say what you want about Penn and his beliefs or whatever, but the guy is a class A director and actor.
As about Jon Bon Jovi – he released his best music around the same time Vedder did with Vitalogy but he’s still extremely relevant these days (pun intended), unlike all those other bands to which they were once linked and that King Moron – Stew mentioned.
