I don’t care what label the album comes out on, as long as they don’t start touring with fucking Creed

Saw Filter back in 2011 (with Bush) and they rocked. I met Richard Patrick and he was a really cool, down-to-earth guy. Loved TTWA

Filter is fucking awesome. This new album will be insane

I’ve always thought Filter were a quality band.

Does Richard change the lineup for every new album?

  • lilrockable said:

@shanec I think he has the billy corgan/trent reznor thing going on. he is essentially the main composer of all their songs

I can’t wait to hear this. Their last album was so underrated, an improvement from Anthems for the Damned, and one of their best. This should be good and I hope they get better promotion now that they moved to Wind-up.

His brother was AWESOME in Cop-Land! Just sayin’

This is why Army of Anyone won’t be started up anytime soon with the Deleo brothers, Richard will be pretty busy with Filter. Still funny how he and Robert Patrick are related.

I had hoped it would’ve been releases by now as they were talking about it like it was almost done all last year! Whatever though, it’s coming soon and it’s going to fucking rock! Looking forward to a few of those trademark ‘yeeeeeeeeahs’ from Rich over some crushing riffs.

I didn’t even know they had released anything since ‘Anthems’. I may have to give it a try, but ‘Title Of Record’ remains my fave.

I’d like to hope they can top the awesomeness that is ‘Title of Record’ but I don’t think that’s gonna be easy. That record is classic, every song is killer.
