RUMOR: PEARL JAM PLANNING TOUR FOR FALL 2013
There are rumors on Twitter that Pearl Jam are planning a stadium (possibly arena shows as well) tour in support of their new album for fall 2013. A performance at Wrigley Field in Chicago seems all but confirmed at this point, but there are rumors of other stadium shows as well including at Fenway Park in Boston and Yankee Stadium in New York. Take this all with a grain of salt, obviously. The last time Pearl Jam toured the United States was their 13 date May 2010 tour.
In November Jeff Ament told me that Pearl Jam had no plans set in stone for 2013 outside of meeting in March, but obviously things could have changed since then (or the rumors regarding non Wrigley Field shows could be BS, we sure hope not).

Why don’t they ever tour UK anymore
We are excited to announce two special Pearl Jam live performances to take place in London, Ontario and at Chicago’s Wrigley Field in July 2013. Both evenings will be An Evening with Pearl Jam; there will not be an opening band for either performance date.
The two show dates are:
Tues, July 16 – London, Ontario Budweiser Gardens
Fri, July 19 – Chicago, Illinois at Wrigley Field
*Fall Tour dates in the US will be announced in the coming months.
For those of us in the Chicago area, tickets for the Wrigley show go on sale 2/9. I’d be looking forward to this a little more if it wasn’t at Wrigley. What a dump!

PJ at Wrigley is gonna be Epic. One of the best stadiums in baseball and Im sure Eddie is thriled to be playing there as he sings Take me out to the ballgame every season.

Oh, I’m sorry…were the 3 (count ‘em…THREE) UK dates in 2012 not enough? Did the 25th of June, 2010 show skip your mind? Or did you also forget about twice in August of 2009? Oh, you poor, poor dear. Try having them come to your area once in their entire career, over 12 years ago, then feel free to put on your sad face.
