Hmm not sure SP want to play to a half empty Wembley Arena…

Wembley seats 13,000. That will be very hard to sell out for the smashing pumpkins, even in a heavily populated city like london. Let’s be serious corgan.

And it is a shit venue.

The fact he is only playing 3 gigs will help the sales, but I don’t want to go see a band like SP in a giant venue like that.

I think we could be surprised. In Montréal they pulled off the Bell Center, which is the most attended venue in all of North America this last year.

This makes me realize how much I miss reading SP/Corgan news almost everyday on this site. I can’t wait for the band to be active again!

On Jimmy’s last tour of the UK they played Nottingham Arena, which is much, much smaller than Wembley. It was half full (if that) and Billy stormed off in a hissy fit about halfway through. I can’t see this going well, unless they’re playing some sort of festival that is yet to be announced.

Also interesting ton toe that the Pumpkins haven’t been back to Nottingham since that night.

That should be ‘to note’ rather than ‘ton toe’
