SCOTT WEILAND PLANNING SHOWS IN NEW YORK AND OTHER CITIES

By: 6 February 2013 7 Comments

(Possibly former) Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland will perform in Transverse City, Michigan on March 2, 2013 at Streeters. Weiland’s drummer Danny Thompson revealed on Facebook that shows in New York and New Jersey are being planned for early March. The shows are yet again being advertised as ‘Greatest Hits’ shows, like Weiland’s solo tour and Stone Temple Pilots’ potential final tour last year. Weiland is currently recording his third solo album.

    STP is finished.

I hope the Deleos form a new band soon.

When Weiland says his tour will be a greatest hits tour, he means they’ll be playing STP tunes, right? Which Weiland solo tunes have ever been hits?

FYI – “…Transverse City, Michigan” should be corrected to read Traverse City, Michigan.

@ShaneC-STP ain’t finished, not by a longshot. Sure, the band and Scott have had their issues but they have had those issues since the 90s and still were making albums.

They just need to be apart for awhile then they’ll come back together and to another album.

Mums the word. In the meantime, Scott’s going to go on tour while he waits to hear whether he’s still in STP or not.
