TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS PLAYER JOFFREY LUPUL: PEARL JAM IS A BAND EVERYBODY SHOULD SEE LIVE AT LEAST ONCE
The National Hockey League (NHL) gave Maple Leafs forward Jeffory Lupul access to the league’s Twitter account for two hours yesterday. In that span he took all sorts of questions from fans and followers alike. One of them being the following:
Candace @Khandii
A band/Musician you think everyone should see live at least once @NHL #AskLupul
To this the former all-star responded:
NHL @NHL
@Khandii My Morning Jacket, Pearl Jam, Jack White, M83.. I could go on all day, but thats a good place to start
Mr. Lupul declined to answer any question asked to him by this reporter. You can follow Lupul over at his own twitter account at @JLupul

Agreed. I saw Pearl Jam back in 2003 during their Riot Act tour and it was my first concert I ever went to. They played for 2.5 hours and was worth it. Them and Foo Fighters, who I saw back in 2011 and played for 2.5 hours as well, are definitely tied as my favorite concert I’ve been to.
Screw the Leafs though. Go Habs go!
Let’s go Devils!
Yesss. Fellow Habs fan here!
I don’t mind the Habs – although some of their fans can be really obnoxious. I’ll always have respect for Brian Gionta though. Great player and proves that you don’t need to be a big guy to make it in the NHL.
Not to mention they have Price, Subban…good team. Still could use a little more depth though.
I think depth isn’t an issue so far this year, few teams have 3 offensive lines that work so well. Rookie Galchenyuk and Gallagher, remember those names!
Pacioretty, Desharnais and Markov are worth mentionning as key players also. So far they are the surprise in the NHL this season, nothing less.
This is for all you Habs fans!

Markov is just having one good year. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets injured again next year.
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta
Gallagher-Galchenyuk-Prust
Armstrong-Eller-Moen
Markov-Emelin
Gorges-Diaz
Bouillon-Subban
Those are the current lines for the Canadiens. Clearly they need to get younger as I’m surprised Cole is still in the NHL and Gionta isn’t getting any younger. Prust is a 4th liner and a goon. He is totally a liability on the 3rd line.
Is my post showing?
Gotta love Hockey Players – Yep. So glad they are back.
How about the guy who played for Vancouver (I think) who picked up Bono an his wife when they were hitch hiking because their car broke down…..
(PS: go caps. go flyers. go nucks.)
You mean Gilbert Brulé? Yeah he doesn’t play with Vancouver anymore…in fact he isn’t even in the NHL! Haha.
I totally agree! You should see them once, then you’re sick to your stomach from throwing $100 down the drain and the second hand smoke from Ed blown in your face.
The key for the Habs is definitely for Markov to stay healthy. But with Price playing the way he is, and being a younger team in a shortened season, I think they’re in good shape. Same thing for other young teams like Edmonton, Chicago and Tampa. I think teams like Detroit and maybe even L.A. are gonna have trouble seeing as they’re older.
Same thing with San Jose. Injuries might catch up to them…
Hey ‘The Dude’, go fuck yourself you stupid Montreal fuck, Toronto is the best team in the history of hockey, they won the cup 5 times in the last 10 years and Pearl Jam can go suck Obama’s cock. You know he scheduled to power outage at the SuperBowl? Eddie Vedder sounds like shit, he injects Pinot Noir and Malboro darts into his veins. Fucking Toronto is the best fucking team, Carey Price is shit.
Brian Burke = the best GM the Bruins never had.
Toronto has a ton of history, but they are a f’ing joke now. How many years since they were in the playoff?
Bonerjam, you probably wouldn’t have liked Sequin or Dougie Hamilton playing in Toronto anyways.
That was a brutal trade. I think everyone here in Montreal would rather the leafs have Seguin and Hamilton and not the Bruins.
If Larry Bird played for the Bruins and Patrick Ewing played for the Leafs, no one would ever win because they are so good that the game would last forever. Also, Poulet Kentucky Subban is the best player only because he was raised in Toronto, the fact that he plays for Montreal makes me want to go to his house and hug him until he starves to death. You dig?
I have seen Pearl Jam twice and both shows were great, Lupul is bang on.
Subban is such an arrogant ass. He’s talented but he’s like Evander Kane for the Jets. A total loud mouth/big shot. The complete opposite of what you expect out of a NHL player. No humility.
Also Burke will be back in the spotlight soon. Columbus, Washington, The Islanders…all look like candidates to fire their GMs. You can also make cases for the Flames. Although Feaster just does what management tells him to do and isn’t really a “bad GM”.
How ironic will it be to see Burke/Wilson back again. Which could happen given that the teams I just listed (not including the Flames here) have awful coaches.
GO LEAFS GO!!!!!
leafs suck
Snap out of it Americans. Go watch MLB Network, all of you!
Hmmm don’t seem to see anyone mention your sorry trolling ass name Jack Irons?! Why are you commenting? Thought you said you only comment when someone mentions you? So your a troll and a liar. How sad.
Baseball is terrible. Same motions every time, no contact, no fights, a sad excuse for “speed”, overweight players posing as “stars”. It’s as entertaining as watching paint dry.
Magic Mike – I love hockey, but don’t start comparing it to baseball. This is a fight you’re not going to win. Since you will inevitably bring up steroids, I’ll get out in front of that and say while I don’t agree it’s morally right to take them, they only make the game day experience more pleasurable for fans.
Example A
“Oh no. We’re tied after OT…time to turn our game into a 1 on 1 skills contest to decide a winner.” We won’t do this in the playoffs though. There has to be different rules in the regular season and playofss.
Example B
“Whoever wins the skills contest is awarded 2 points – the same amount of points as a team who wins in regulation.”
Example C
“Ratings are down, scoring is down, you know what? Let’s go ahead and remove the 2-line pass. We can change the rules anytime we want.”
Example D
“Speaking of low scoring, let’s go ahead and expand the league into Phoenix and Atlanta, you know, places that attendance will be guaranteed. This way, we can lower the Talent to Team Ratio.”
Example E
“What are you guys doing during the next lockout?”
I’ll stop there.
