Sounds to me like a live studio album straight from the hip with zero Protools.

Sounds like they’re just flowing along the process of creation

Live studio with no digital bullshit would be $$$.

They have six long years riding on this album, and Josh hit a career high with the Vultures album, so there’s really no way this album is going to blow ass.

“Rated R” had a lot of guests and was a great record. I hope Josh eases back a smidge on the swagger vocals. The Them Crooked Vultures album was full steam ahead on that styling and it was too much…

    @ Philip
I think that style suited the songs more so on that TMV record

Them Crooked Vultures was three ace musicians playing music for fun and for the enjoyment of each others company, and making one of the best rock albums of the past decade, bar none. That album is absolutely powerhouse. You can rock out to it from front to back and get lost in it at the same time.

It just goes to show that honesty+heart = a successful recipe for excellent music.
