SMASHING PUMPKINS TO PLAY INAUGURAL FUNSHINE MUSIC FESTIVAL IN FLORIDA
The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that the Smashing Pumpkins – fronted by “Furniture King” William Patrick Corgan will be one of many acts performing in Tampa for the inaugural Funshine Music Festival at the Florida State Fairgrounds. The festival scheduled to take place May 3-5 and will feature a mix of rock, country and alternative acts.

Friday, May 3: Train, Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, Good Old War, Youngblood Hawke, Dead Confederate, Roadkill Ghost Choir
Saturday, May 4: REO Speedwagon, Styx, Ted Nugent, New Found Glory, Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, We The Kings, Bad Books, Kevin Devine and The Goddamn Band, the Weeks, Tallhart, Pitbull Toddler, Hell’s Bells (AC/DC tribute)
Sunday, May 5: Gary Allan, Kix Brooks, the Wallflowers, Josh Thompson, The Lone Bellow, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Sticky Fingers (Rolling Stones tribute), Yesterday (Beatles tribute)

Smashing Pumpkins and Cheap Trick on Friday, any one going is so lucky
“Furniture King”!!!! That made me laugh.
Seems like odd line-ups, rather curtailed to the deep south with a few random acts mixed in.
