DAVE GROHL SAYS KURT COBAIN’S DEATH MADE HIM REALIZE “EVERY DAY SHOULD BE CELEBRATED”

By: 14 March 2013 11 Comments

In a recent interview with NZHerald Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl said the following regarding the death of Kurt Cobain.”

“When Kurt died, I realized that every day should be celebrated in some way, and we’re so lucky to have what we have. It doesn’t matter if it’s the best or the worst day of your life, just being here is good enough. So I really try to take advantage of it. Hey, I am busy but sleep is overrated. You know, I have so much energy and I don’t even do drugs. It’s honestly all done on coffee.”

    Yeah coffee… 100% pure Colombian… coffee

If not for Dale and Buzz, Dave would be managing a Foot Locker in bumblefuck Maryland. No gift could compare to what they did for Dave in introducing him to Kurt

Minimally we’ve known this since the BBC Special Series “7 Ages of Rock” where, upon being interviewed, Dave says as much.

I know he’s said this more than once.

And Yes, “Fresh Pots” is hilarious !!
