DAVE GROHL: ‘NEXT FOO FIGHTERS ALBUM WON’T BE CONVENTIONAL’
Dave Grohl said in a new interview with Billboard that he has “a crazy idea of what I want to do with the next [Foo Fighters] record and how we record it. It’s not conventional. It won’t be a conventional record.”
Taylor Hawkins added, “just sort of a germ in Dave’s head at this point. He says he’s got a lot of ideas. We haven’t really gotten down to brass tacks. I don’t know what the path will be. It’s always a little different, which is good.”

they are going to record this one in space
Can’t wait.
They’re going to do a duet with Skrillex!
kidding but I hope it’s not even remotely close to that.
kinda like the new Alice in Chains one, huh
They’re going to record it live on the road
I kind of get sick of hearing this stuff from Dave.
I was about to say the same thing (sort of) as xsamociukx. Recorded live in the studio with an audience like Black Crowes did with their last one. Sounded awesome.
I heard a certain frontman who USED to be in a famous 90s grunge rock band will now be in the Foo Fighters
haha you can see which one?
How about the Foo Fighters, whats left of the Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam all get together?? And create a new super rock band?
Eddie Vedder ( Lead Vocals, guitar )
Dave Grohl ( Second Vocals, guitar )
Pat Smear ( 1st lead guitar )
Dean DeLeo ( 2nd lead guitar )
Mike Mccready ( 3rd lead guitar )
Robert DeoLeo ( 1st bass )
Jeff Amment ( 2st bass )
Taylor Hawkings ( drums )
CALL IT : THE REJECTS
@cosmicatomic
you are not a fan, so of course you are sick of dave and the foos making good records
I hope whatever he does, he uses that space station of a mixing board he showcases in Sound City.
Oh, but it will sound conventional. Foos are one of the more generic rock bands out there.
