this website is lame! there was a lot going on besides nirvana, pearl jam( yuck! ) and soundgarden. what about my name, seaweed, girl trouble, the gits, tad, the melvins, sage, supersuckers, dead moon, sky cries mary… there was so much great music going on @ that time & it’s too bad most of the good shit gets overlooked.

The bands section continues to be updated, there are plenty of bands I’m a fan of that aren’t on yet because of my lack of free time. Just about all of the bands you listed will be in the Bands section by the time it’s finished, I plan on launching a subsection for each band at some point. I check news on a lot of obscure Grunge bands but I simply cannot find any news on them. If you find any please e-mail it to grungereport @yahoo.com.

This website is great! I love many of the bands that you have included and I understand that because you have to do this thing called living and maintaining this website probably does not put food on the table that there are some groups that are not on here yet. The commercially successful bands for the most part are on here some of my favorites like Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains. Not everyone likes them, but obviously some people do or else they would not be so commercially successful. Thank you for doing this.
hey Girl Trouble is alive, active, and posts constantly on their Facebook page. GT could def be added to the list.

ingrid g, you just shut up! Pearl Jam are great, and about the other bands, almost none of them are still active, so how much news could it be?!? Besides, half of the band you’re mentioning is not grunge!

Mudhoney page on FB!
I have a question about Duncan. Isn’t hosting a show about grunge rock and having personal issues with drug addicts like being a vegetarian butcher?
Yeah, this is a great site! Give Brett a break for Christ’s sake.
Creed is the best everyone knows that because Eddie Vador ripped of Scott Stapp.
